TOMATO BASIL CHILI

Ingredients

1 Tbsp. olive oil
2 lbs. (.907 kg) lean ground beef
2 tsp. Sunset Seasoned Salt
1 Tbsp. Oh! So Onion
1 Tbsp. Mexican Fiesta Rub & Seasoning
1 packet Creamy Tomato, Basil & Garlic Dip Mix
2 cans (398 mL) maple pork & beans
1 can (540 mL) red kidney beans
1 can (283 mL) diced tomatoes
1 large can or jar (650 ml) pasta sauce
2 tsp. chili powder

Instructions

In a large skillet oer medium heat, heat olive oil and add ground beef and seasonings. Break beef apart with a spoon or spatula as it is cooking. Cook until beef is no longer pink. Drain and transfer beef mixture to a large pot or skillet and add remaining ingredients, bring to a light boil for 1 minute then cover and simmer on low for 40 minutes. Add more pasta sauce or a bit of water if you do not have enough liquid.
